1.1 3G typed-triple screw pump is the positive displacement pump with sound intake capacity, which is suitable for transmitting any kinds of lubricating liquid without the solid particles, non-corrosive oil and analogues. (It is prohibited to use for transmitting water and other non-lubricating medium.)

1.2 Based on the practical experience for many years, the screw pump is made of selected material in high level of production quality. The normal operation and service life of pump could be ensured only if the installation is rational and the operation is correct. If there is failure or error appearing in the operation, we suggest check the whole system according to the failure inspection sheet one by one.

Firstly the client should check whether current operation condition complies with the design data on the nameplate or not and the method of finding out and eliminating failures will be supplied on the failure inspection sheet on the last sheet.

2. Structure

2.1 The internal structure of triple screw pump is mainly composed by one active screw (called master lever for short), two driven screw (called driven screw for short) and the bushing of containing three screws.Three screws are placed in the bushing wit three parallel holes. The master level is supported by the bearing, and its axial force adopts hydraulic balance. And the bearing only endures the deal load of screw and less of 

3.5 The master level should be turned by hand easily after installation.

3.6 The suction and discharge pipeline must be connected correctly with the flange of pump, which the pump should not displace by using bolt absolutely in order to take the suction and discharge pipeline in place. Don’t forget putting the gasket or “O”-ring.

3.7 The pressure gage should be connected best on the oil discharge outlet pipeline of the pump so as to observe the operation status of the pump.

3.8 Before installation, the medium oil should be injected full into the seal cavity to prevent the pump from seal drying in starting.

3.9 It should be attention in installing mechanical seal that:

a) The components only could be cleaned by clean fabric without using cotton waste;

b) The seal surface of mechanical seal should not be damaged;

c)  The “O” seal ring should not be damaged in installing mechanical seal;

d) The seal surface should not be contact to the earth;

e) The installation direction of rotating seal ring should be paid attention.

4.  Matters need attention in starting:

4.1 Dry running is not allowed to the pump. The transmitted liquid shall be injected full to the pump before first starting (the liquid shall be injected in the pump from the outlet; meanwhile, the jigger shall be reversed by hand), which could provide necessary liquid seal to the pump in starting with ensuring the pump to absorb by itself to lubricate. 

the allowable value, the pump must be equipped with safety valve or other protective device to limit the maximum pressure of pump.

3.  Matters need attention in the installation of pump:

3.1 Before installation, the pump should be checked whether the oil seal is sound and whether it is damaged during transportation or not. The coupling should be turned by hand to check whether it is jammed or blocked or not.

3.2  If the pump is stand-alone, which should be matched with the electrical machine, the burr on the key and key groove on the pump spindle (master lever) shall be removed with finishing and oiling. And then the pump spindle shall be installed on the pump coupling to prevent the machine seal from being broken due to smash by heavy punch.

3.3  When the oil absorption and oil extraction pipeline is installed, its pipe diameter is not allowed to be less than the caliber of oil absorption port and oil discharge port. The pipeline of oil absorption should not be too long with many bending; otherwise it may affect the operation status of pump.

3.4  All the pipelines, gate valves and valves should be washed clean before installation; otherwise the residue in the installation such as welding slag, steel shot, nut and screw and other foreign matter will damage the internal parts of the pump with affecting the operation and service life of pump. So the filter should be installed on the aspiration pipe. The size of mesh on the filter could be fixed according to the working condition and viscosity of medium, which generally are 40-80 holes. The filtering area generally is not allowed to be less than 20 times of cross sectional area of the oil suction pipe.

2.2  The bushing of the pump of medium flow is fixed in the pump as an individual part, which general is the vertical typed structure. Once the pump is changed, it could be manufactured as horizontal type.

2.3 The fulcrum bearing of 3G triple screw pump in shaft extension is small, which should be driven directly by prime motor via elastic coupling. It is not allowed to drive by the methods such as the major extra radial force generated by pulley etc.

2.4  In order to prevent the pipe resistance from being increased suddenly caused by any reason so as to damage the pump, prime motor or pipe system due to that the pressure of pump exceeds
