1.  General  Specification

1-1  Application

This  application  shall  be  applied  to  one  unit  of  diesel  engine  and/or  diesel

Gen-Set  and  its  accessories  which  are  supplied  by  E&G TECH  Co.,Ltd.

1-2  Applicable  standards

This  product  shall  be  in  accordance  with  K.S,  KEMC111,  ISO  and  other  things not  mentioned  above  shall  be  in  accordance  with  DOOSAN  original.

1-3  Conditions

Mounting  Location:  Indoor  &  Outdoor  without  dust,  sand,  vibration,  &  any  other

foreign  object  where  heat  produced  by  engine  &  generator shall  be  cooled  easily  in.

Ambient  temperature  :  -20°C~40  °C
Relative  Humidity  :   Below  85%
Altitude  :  Below  1000m  at  sea  level

1-4  Guaranty

Our  guaranty  is  only  applicable  for  1  year  from  the  date  of  shipment.  But  we

can  not  accept  the  responsibility  on  secondary  damages  from  natural  calamities.

1-5  Paint

After  removing  oxide  of  in  &  out  surface  of  Gen-Set,  coating  shall  be  taken more  than  one  time  before  main  painting.  Color  shall  be  in  accordance  with DOOSAN  original  unless  any  other  specification  is.

3-2  Structure  and  function

Control   panel   is   mounted   on   the   above   of   the   generator   and   has   engine start/stop,  auto/manual  operation,  and  automatic  stop  function  at  the  abnormal conditions  of  engine  &  generator  and  checks  operating  conditions  by  using
gauges  &  lamps  usually  fitted  at  the  panel  face.

4.  Protection  system

Engine  protection  system  works  at  the  abnormal  operation  conditions  as  following.

5.  Generator  Electrical  SPEC.

5-1  Voltage  Variation

The  voltage  variation  shall  be  within  ±2.5%.

5-2  Frequency  Variation

The  frequency  variation  shall  be  within  ±5%  from  no-load  to  rated  load.

5-3  Voltage  Adjustment

The  rated  voltage  can  be  adjusted  in  ±5%.

6.  Check  & Test

6-1  Structure  Test

Check  the  correspondence  with  documents  &  drawings.

6-2  No-load  Test

Check  KA(short  current)  and  voltage  increase.

6-3  Volatage  &  Frequency  variation  Test

Check  the  correspondence  with  item  5-1  &  5-2.

6-4  Temperature  Test

When  Gen-Set  is  checked  at  the  rated  load,  any  temperature  of  generator shall  be  as  following.

6-5  Insulation  Resistance  Test

The  resistance  between  windings  and  box  shall  be  checked  at  more  than  5ML.

6-6  Dielectric  Test

When  AC  voltage  between  windings  &  earth  is  maintained  at  the  value  as
following  for  a  minute,  insulation  breakdown  &  flashover  should  not  be  caused.

1)  Amateur  windings  :  2E  +1000  [V]

2)  Field  windings  :  10EX  [V]

6-7  Over  load  Test

Gen-Set  can  have  an  overload  at  the  110%  prime  power  rating  for  more than  one  hour.

6-8  Circuit  Test

Check  accesories  and  protection  equipments  on  the  circuit.

6-9  Voltage  Adjustment

Check  the  item  5-3.   Selected  setting  range  shall  not  be  requested
