SELFOAM STYRO ADHESIVE PU FOAM

1. Product Description Selfoam Styro Adhesive PU Foam is moisture cured, one component polyurethane adhesive for bonding polystyrene thermal insulation boards and decorative construction elements.

2. Properties

▪ One-component.

▪ Moisture cured.

▪ Excellent adhesion to most construction materials

▪ Cuttable and paintable after curing.

▪ Should not be exposed to UV and be covered paint or plaster.

▪ Applied with gun; Easy to use. Not clogged when the application is paused for a short period of time.

▪ Requires less cleaning needs. Changing the tube can be made faster.

4. Application Details

Application Temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C

Temperature Resistance (cured): -30 °C to +80 °C

The application surface must be solid, clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. If the surface is not clean then pressurized water can be used to clean the dust.

• Dry surfaces must be moisturized before application of PU foam.

• Low temperature cans should be used after storage at room temperature for a period of time (20 min).

• Shake the tube vigorously about 30 times before use. Repeat the shaking at intervals.

• Dispense the foam by 3 cm bead size and leaving 2 cm space at the edges of the insulation panels. Also a single bead across the board centre (long to longest side). If there is wind exposure or rain then use scaffoldings mesh.

• Wait 3-4 minutes and then press the insulation panels and hold in place approx. 1 min.
