Stationary and Portable, Increased Safety 16 and 32 Amp Multiple Socket Outlets.

Appleton’s ATX MRE Series outlets provide multiple sockets for powering portable or stationary equipment in corrosive and hazardous locations. 16 and 32 Amp versions are available for powering lighting systems, conveyors, heaters, motor generators, air conditioners, compressors, pumps and similar equipment.

Safety features include a switch that allows total disconnection of power when the plug is removed, a flameproof chamber for containing the connection/disconnection of each phase, and short circuit protection. Additionally, the socket can only accept ATX plugs, although the plugs can be used in ordinary location sockets to provide maximum flexibility in the use of portable equipment.
