Sony đã cho ra mắt dòng máy quay HXR-NX100, máy quay chuyên nghiệp thế hệ mới sử dụng cảm biến 1 inch 20-megapixel Exmor R CMOS – cùng kích cỡ với khung hình phim Super 16mm – nhắm vào doanh nghiệp, phim tài liệu và sản xuất sự kiện.
Sony cho biết bộ cảm biến được thiết kế thu thập ánh sáng yếu với độ nhạy sáng nhỏ nhất là 1.7 lux và ống kính có tiêu cự 29mm ở góc rộng cho phép zoom quang học 12x. Vòng xoay ống kính có thể điều khiển zoom, lấy nét và iris bằng tay. 4 chế độ lọc ND. Màn hình EVF và LCD đều có 1550K dots, và cổng kết nối bao gồm HDMI, MicroUSB, XLR, Remote, BNC, và MI shoe.
Các định dạng quay phim gồm AVCHD, DV, và XAVC S ở tốc độ 50 Mbps. Có 2 khe thẻ cho phép sao lưu đồng thời chuyển tiếp và ghi hình độc lập vào thẻ nhớ SDXC/SDHC, Stick Pro Duo (Mark 2) và Memory Stick Pro-HD Duo. Các nút trên máy NX100 cho phép người quay start và stop trên những thẻ nhớ khác nhau 1 cách độc lập.

Cảm biến độc đáo 1.0-inch Exmor R chiếu sáng nền CMOS của Sony có kich thước xấp xỉ kích thước cảm biến khung phim Super 16mm, cho phép tạo ra độ phân giải cao và độ nhạy sáng cực thấp, cũng như kiểm soát được trường ảnh cạn hơn với nhu cầu ghi hình hiện nay.
Độ nhạy và độ phân giải cao lên tới 20 triệu điểm ảnh tạo ra hình ảnh có màu sắc và chi tiết khác biệt lớn, độ nhạy sáng tối thiểu tốt 1.7 lux.
Zoom tối đa 48x với ống kính SONY G
HXR-NX100 sử dụng ống kính cố định SONY G với khả năng zoom quang lên đến 12x ở góc rộng 29mm. Ngoài ra có thể tăng lên 24x nhờ công nghệ Clear Image Zoom, công nghệ siêu phân giải cho độ phân giải cao sắc nét mà chất lượng gần giống với zoom quang. Hiệu xuất zoom có thể tăng lên gấp đôi mội lần nữa nhờ chức năng Extender Digital lên tới 48x.

Các tính năng chuyên nghiệp bao gồm 3 vòng điều khiển riêng biệt Focus, zoom, iris. Khe cắm thẻ với 2 khe độc lập, có thể ghi hình đồng thời trên cả 2 thẻ hoặc có thể ghi hình trên từng thẻ. Sử dụng bộ lọc chuyên nghiệp với 4 bước giúp cho việc điều chỉnh ánh sáng tốt hơn trong từng điều kiện ghi hình. 1" Exmor R CMOS SensorThe HXR-NX100 incorporates a 1.0-type Exmor R CMOS sensor with 14.2 million effective pixels, which is approximately the same size as Super16mm film frame. The R designation signifies that this is a backside illuminated sensor, which places the circuitry behind the photosites, allowing more light to reach the sensors and resulting in greater low light sensitivity.Depth of FieldThe 1.0-type offers more shallow depth of field than 1/2.88-type or smaller sensors.Sony G Lens with 12x Optical Zoom, 24x Clear Image ZoomThe HXR-NX100 is supplied with a fixed 12x 29mm wide-angle Sony G lens. The 12x optical zoom can be doubled to 24x with Clear Image Zoom, and the Digital Extender function can double this range again, up to 48x zoom.Frame Rate FlexibilityThe camcorder records using the AVCHD 2.0 codec for Full HD 1920x1080 resolution video at frame rates of 24p, 30p, 60i, and 60p. The camcorder also offers 720/60p AVCHD capture, 2x slow motion and 60x quick motion recording, as well as standard definition DV recording. You can set up the two Start/Stop buttons on the HXR-NX100, one on the grip and one on the camcorder body, to independently start and stop recording on different memory cards while recording in "SIMUL" mode.Multi-Interface ShoeThe MI Shoe expands your options to use accessories without cables, such as optional HVL-LBPC Video Light or the UWP-D wireless microphone series.EVF and LCD ViewfinderThe HXR-NX100 incorporates a 0.24-type 1550K dots EVF and 3.5-type 1550K dots LCD.Multi-Format RecordingThe HXR-NX100 records AVCHD and DV, which are suitable for conventional workflow, and newly implemented XAVC S 50Mbps, which realizes better image quality.Picture ProfilesYou can fine-tune the look of movies before shooting by adjusting up to 99 parameters such as gamma, knee, black level, color model/level/phase and more. Adjusted parameters can be saved along with other settings as a profile, and up to six profiles can be stored for later recall.
You can copy the settings from one HXR-NX100 to another HXR-NX100 so that user can shoot with multiple cameras in the same settings. The picture profiles only work with the same model of camera.
