Field bus systems

Many different bus systems have established themselves in the field of industrial communication. Baumüller drive technology supports the six most popular field bus systems EtherCAT®, Sercos®, Ethernet, CANopen, CANsync and Profibus®.

The new b maXX 5000 side-by-side converter generation has an integrated Drive Connect- System: individual modules can be easily added or removed without having to break up the entire drive group. The standard-setting control quality is maintained at all times.

b maXX 5500 mono units

The series-mounting converters 5000 have been extended to mono-units in the range 5500. This covers power ratings of 1.1 to 315 kW and higher safety functions such as SLS and SLP can be integrated up to high power ratings.

b maXX 4600 / b maXX 4700 - Peak load and rated load devices

The peak load and rated load devices supplement the proven bmaXX series and are available in five frame sizes. Whether you need maximum output for continuous operation or only for short durations, the b maXX series offers a customized drive solution for every application.

Baumüller is placing increasing value on energy-efficient drives and the consideration of their lifecycle costs. Its servo motors and converters have for many years been rated as both meeting and exceeding the criteria of the highest efficiency class, EFF1.

DSD - Dynamic servo motors

DSA - Three-phase current external-rotor motors

The Baumüller 12-pole external rotor synchronous motor features a very high torque density and outstanding constant speed characteristics.
